Question:
I own a 2001 toyota tundra access cab 4x4 and need the wiring harness to plug into my vehicles wiring so i can add a trailer plug to the back with a hitch. So far I can see anything that will work. I want to have a 7 pin female plug when done. I can send pictures of my harness connectors.

Hey Mark, to install a 7-way on your 2001 Toyota Tundra will require to first install a 4-way which for that you would want the Tekonsha part # 118378 which you would then need the # 37185 to convert it to a 7-way.
Now if your trailer has brakes you would instead need to go with the # ETBC7 and a brake controller like the P3 part # 90195 instead of the 37185.

Hey Mark, how did things go wiring your Tundra with the 4-way and 7-way setup? Your update could make it easier for others adding a trailer plug and hitch to the same truck.
