Hello Jonathan; the Curt # C15312 you ordered is 39" across and designed to fit certain models of the Sierra and Silverado 2500/3500. For your application you want to use a universal weld-on hitch like the # 41990-07 with 7" drop brackets or the # 41990-16 with 16" brackets. These Class V hitches fit frame widths up to 44" and have a 2" receiver.
