Hello David, good question. I double checked with the tehcs at Curt and unfortunately, they do not offer a locking pin for the Alumalite Aluminum Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # C53ZJ. They do not recommend using any pin other than those provided with the ball mount. According to them using any other pin is a safety hazard and will void your warranty. If you were to use another pin it would need to be made from aluminum, and we do not offer any aluminum locking hitch pins. We offer some 5/8" stainless pins but using this on an aluminum ball mount could cause excessive corrosion so with this and the warranty issues I really can't recommend using a locking pin. You will need to continue using the pins that came with your ball mount.

Hey David, did you end up sticking with the original pins that came with your Curt Alumalite ball mount? Knowing how that setup worked for you could help others trying to keep their hitch secure without voiding the warranty.
