Can the adjustable Pintle mount 48342 be used in the rising position instead of the position? Thank you.

Hey Kevin, yes the Curt Pintle Hook Mounting Plate part # C48342 cannot be used in the rise position but we have the B and W Pintle Mounting Plate part # BWPMHD14004 that can.

@Victor Hey I am really sorry about that I should have noticed that. We do have the part # BWPMHD14004 that doesn't have that requirement.

Yes, you can use the Pintle Hook Mount, #63059, in either a rise or drop position. If you need a bolt on pintle hook, use #C48205. It has a 10,000 pound capacity so it has more than enough capacity for your trailer.
