Question:
I have a pair of 8000 lb axles with Kodiak Xl lube Disc brake kit 13inch your code number is k2hr858xld and on one side of the trailer the out side disc brake pad on both axles has worn down to the metal but the inside pads have what looks like normal ware on them . Before I start ordering replacement pads I want to know if there is something wrong that needs to be fixed before I replace the pads ?I checked the other side and everything seems normal. Thanks

Usually the problem is associated with sticking calipers and the fix for the problem is to clean and grease the slide pins.
Since it is happening to both axles on one side of your trailer you could have an alignment issue.
For replacement pads you would want the Kodiak Ceramic Brake Pads # K250CP.
