Hey Ryan! To add a 7-way connector to your 2018 Nissan NV2500 you'll need to install two sets of wiring harnesses if you do not already have a 4-way connector installed. I have listed the parts you'll need below and how they set up.
If you do not already have a 4-way connector you'll want the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56148. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Nissan's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. The connection points are inside the door jams. I've attached a picture below to show you.
The second harness you will need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7, you were looking at. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
You will then connect the blue wire to the blue wire on the brake controller, connect the black wire to the positive post on the vehicle's battery, the white wire to ground, and the yellow wire to vehicle's reverse circuit if applicable. This will provide you with the ability to control your trailer's brakes and also provide you with a 12v power wire for you trailer's accessory lights.
Here are some other parts you will need to tow a trailer with brakes with your 2018 Nissan NV2500:
Ball Mount Kit - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
Brake Controller w/ Plug in Adapter - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness item # RED53CR
Mounting Bracket - No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket item # 18140

Hey Ryan, how did the wiring setup go on your Nissan NV2500 with the Curt harness and ETBC7 kit? Did the connection between the 4-way and 7-way come together smoothly? Your update could make it easier for others adding trailer wiring to the same van.
