Question:
Hello Robin, I have a 2023 silverado 1500 RST with the 3.0 Duramax. I have the tow/haul feature but there is no controller. What controller would I use? Also wondering what the port under the dash is supposed to look like. Thank you!

Hello Cody; for your 2023 Silverado 1500 I recommend the same Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR. This is my favorite brake controller because it is simple, reliable, and has a factory look with the knob in the dash. You will need the Redarc Tow-Pro Wiring Adapter # 331-TPH-017 and Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3064-P for installation if you have the factory tow package.
The Redarc installation videos we have are for older models that don't use the same wiring harness. I went ahead and attached an installation video below from a different brake controller for a 2019 that uses the 3064-P so you can see what the plug looks like.

Hey Cody, how did the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty controller work out on your Silverado? Did the wiring adapters make the install go smoothly? Your feedback could really help others setting up the same brake controller.
