Where Is The Factory Brake Controller Port In A 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500

2021 chevrolet 1500 trailer brake conection under dashboard where is it thanks

The factory brake controller port on a 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 is towards the left side under the dash, just above three other wire harness connections and the lower vent tube for your Silverado's AC system. It will be mounted facing downward and have a cap/dummy plug connected to it that you'll need to remove. If you're installing a Tekonsha or Redarc brake controller then you'll want the # 3064-P instead of the # 3024-P that you were looking at.
