Hey Dennis,

For a 2024 GMC Terrain I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e59ZR. This hitch has a matte black powder coating, which typically matches better with the air dam it'll be sitting next to and won't show scratches as much a gloss coating. It has a 4,500lb GTW / 675lb TW rating which is well over your vehicle's towing capacity so you'll want to make sure you stay under your Terrain's capacity while towing.

For the wiring I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # TK67KR, which is a plug-in harness for a fast and easy installation. Tekonsha is known to be better quality than the competitors so I always choose them if they have an option available.
