Question:
I have a 2006 Pace race trailer, dual 5200 axles, 15 wheels and fitted with Dexter 12x2 brakes, model 23-105/106. I would like to replace and upgrade to self-adjusting brakes. What part number is a suitable replacement, in either Dexter or eTrailer lines?

Hey Sam, thanks for the information! To replace your Dexter Brakes item # 23-105-106 with self-adjusting brakes you'll need the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes item # 23-458-459 you were looking at. These are sold as a pair so you'll need one set per axle.

Hey Sam, how did the upgrade to the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes go on your Pace trailer? It’d be great to hear if the self-adjusting feature made a noticeable difference in performance. Your update could make it easier for others planning the same swap.
