Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out!
Hopkins has 2 different flat tow wiring options for your 2011 Chevy Tahoe; the Kit # HM56104 for a 6-pin tail lamp plug, the Kit # HM56103 for a 5-pin tail lamp plug, and the Kit # HM56102 for a 4-pin tail lamp plug. You may have chosen the wrong Hopkins harness for your application if the problem you're having is the plugs not matching up.
With that being said, some alternative wiring options we have are the Demco LED Light Bar # DM36MV for a "plug and play" type of installation (the receiver plugs into your motorhome plug), or the Roadmaster Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which requires splicing into your tail lights, but is the most reliable wiring kit on the market.
I recommend the Flexo-Coil kit simply because it's the best option you're going to find. After the initial installation you'll just plug the umbilical cord into the 6-Way on your Tahoe and the 7-Way on your motorhome and be good to go!
