Question:
What is the best hitch for a 1999 Subaru Outback limited? It’s a wagon not a sedan the title calls it a legacy outback limited and most legacy parts don’t fit it.

Hey Jim, thanks for reaching out!
The only hitch we have to fit a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon is the Curt # C12270 which is a Class II hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver.
The wording on your title can be confusing so I'm adding a dimensional drawing of this hitch that Curt sent us. You can use that and the installation video I've linked to compare it to your vehicle to see if it will fit or not.
