Hey Rodney, so the winch you have now is an 1,800 lb winch with a 20 foot strap so for a Dutton Lainson replacement the part # DL17042 would be a really great option. This is a similar specced winch but it also has side covers to protect the gears from water damage.

Hey Rodney, how did the Dutton Lainson winch work out as a replacement for your Fulton T1801? It sounds like the side covers could really help with water protection. Sharing how it performed could guide others looking to upgrade their boat trailer winch.
