Exploded Diagram for a Fulton XLT Series Winch

Question:

How and where do I install the spring on an XLT series winch. Can you email me an exploded view diagram of the ratchet, bolt and spring and how they go together? Thank you

The Replacement Spring # 4769-28 that you referenced will install onto the pawl assembly of your winch. Check out the pictures I attached that show an exploded diagram to see how it installs.

I was given this really nice XLT Fulton boat trailer winch by my son. The winch was in great working shape until I disassembled it to lube it before installing it on my boat trailer...........mistake :/ Not being mechanical I can not reassemble it. I have studied the exploded view, but alas I can't reassemble it. Do you have a customer service function where I can send it in and have your experts do this for me? Thanks,

Unfortunately we do not. I'd try seeing if any of your buddies would be willing to help out or if there is a local (trustworthy) shop that would be able to rebuild it for you.

Thanks, I guess I should have just left well enough alone. Most trailer shops today just not helping out much unless you can afford their outrageous labor rates. After covid 19 they are all in the take advantage mode. I'll keep trying to figure out what I did and hopefully get it back together

Hi. Is part nbr 5 still available? The ratchet pawl? If so, I have a Fulton xlt1401 that appears to use this part. Can you confirm that it will fit? I have ordered from you before (but not this part). Thanks, Les

@LesF I wish we could still get that part but Fulton discontinued that as a replacement part for us.
