Replacement Spring Recommendation for Fulton F2 Winch

Question:

Hello Im trying to replace the spring in the Fulton F2 1600 winch series. Ive the kit 1596801. My problem is that when I fit the spring its like it not long enough. I see you drawing on your site but its no very clear as to its mount point. Can you please have me with a good drawing or picture showing it mount. Thank you

I spoke to my contact at Fulton and he said the correct replacement spring for the ratchet of your Fulton F2 winch is the part # 4769-28. I attached a picture that shows a diagram for the winch for you to check out. You will be able to see how the spring installs on the ratchet assembly.

I can't find the part number you referenced anywhere so I am not sure what you have.
