Tire Inflator For 12 Inch Pop-Up Trailer Tires
Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/13/2024 >
Question:
How do I pump my 12 inch pop-up trailer tires to recommended psi? My portable air compressor wont do it and the Sheetz inflation station doesnt provide a high enough psi.

Hey Mike,
You'll need a better tire inflator as there shouldn't be an issue with 12 inch pop-up camper trailer tires. What I recommend doing is going with the Viair EVC Battery Powered Tire Inflator # VA88JR.
There won't be any problem inflating your 12 inch trailer tires with this inflator and it's super easy to have on hand at all times because it's just over 6 inches tall

Hey Mike, how did things go with the Viair battery-powered tire inflator for your pop-up trailer tires? Did it give you the pressure you needed without any trouble? Your update could make it easier for others with small trailer tires to find the right inflator.
