How to Route Brake Controller Harness Behind Coin Compartment on a Ford E-450 Class C Motorhome

Question:
Hello! We have a particular situation with our Class C Ford E450. Our son uses a brake controller he installed on the dashboard right above coin dash , where the cable is behind. To connect, we remove the coin dash to access the harness. This leaves an open gap. I am searching for a solution to close this gap but still have access to the harness plug. Would you have any idea how to accomplish this? Thanks

Hey Ilona, thanks for reaching out!
I believe the install you're talking about is similar to what you see at the 16:40 minute mark in the linked video of the Prodigy P3 # 90195 install on a 2020 Ford E-Series Cutaway.
When we installed this controller we ran the harness under the dash so we could put that compartment back in place. If you're wanting to have the controller on top of the dash then you'll need to trim that compartment in order for it to sit properly back in place.
