Can The # TREQ310 Be Replaced With The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC279687

My trailer is a 2017 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 266RKS. My trailer currently has the etrailer Triangular Equalizer, P/N TREQ310 If I replace it with the Aqua-Flex Cushioned Equalizer, P/N LC279687, will it change the height of my trailer? Currently the clearance between the top of the tires and the wheel well is about 3 inches. I dont want to see decrease in that clearance...would rather see the same or an increase in that clearance. I have the Dexter 3500 axles and installed the etrailer suspension kit K71-448-00 a few years ago but didnt upgrade the Equalizers. Thanks!

Hi Lee,
The # TREQ310 has a 4" vertical spacing compared to the Equa-Flex's # LC279687 2-1/2" spacing so that would cause an issue with your height. With the spacings for this equalizer the other options we offer would either decrease the height or require you to rework your leaf springs, shackle straps, and possibly hangers to fit the new spacings. The closest option we offer would be the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740, which has a 3-1/4" height.
You could go with the # LC696740 and have the middle hangers replaced with longer ones to make up for the height difference.

Bummer....I don't want to rework the suspension so I'll just stick with what I have. Just glad I asked before I bought the Equa-Flex equalizers. I appreciate the quick response.
