Question:

I would like to know what suspension upgrades are available for my 2020 East to West Silver Lakes travel trailer with tandem dexter axles. Each axle is rated at 3500 lbs. and the spacing between axles is 33 inches. The spacing between the equalizer bolts is 5- 3/4 inches and the spacing between spring eye bolts is 6- 3/4 inches. The spring width is 1-3/4 inches.

I would be happy to go over the suspension enhancement options for your 2020 East to West Silver Lakes Travel Trailer with Tandem 3500lb Dexter axles, but the MORryde Premium Rubber Suspension Kit for Tandem Axle Trailer # MR97ZR you were looking at only works with 5200-7000lb axles.

Since your equalizers measure 5-3/4" center to center of the horizontal mounting holes you can use the Dexter E-Z Flex Equalizers # K71-654-00 as a replacement. These equalizers have rubber cores to absorb road shock giving the trailer a smoother ride.

In my opinion the best suspension enhancement option you can add is the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers # RM-2450 which will fit your axles perfectly. This shock kit does a great job of absorbing road shock due to the nitrogen filled shocks, and also helps fight sway by limiting lateral movement.

This kit does require your leaf springs to be on top of the axle, so if your leaf springs are currently underneath the axle you will need to install two of the over-under kits # K71-384-00 to move the axles.
