Question:
Overstuffed the skybox and eventually got it open, but one side turned too hard while stuck and now it won’t open the handle seems to rotate way further than it used to. Can I replace the handle and this will fix it or is it a bigger issue.

Expert Reply:
Hello Matthew. It sounds like the handle on your Yakima Skybox # Y07334 is definitely broken, so I do recommend replacing it with part # Y8880348. It is hard to say with certainty if this will fix the issue with your box without looking at it. If you are having trouble opening it, you may need to replace the hinges as well with part # 8880683.
