How Can I Install The Tekonsha Primus IQ In A 2023 Lexus GX460?

Question:

I just purchased a Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ and need the harness to connect to the factory plug in a 2023 Lexus GX 460. Can you recommend which one to use? i cant seem to find one for anything after a 2020 which is the 3040P See attached picture for the EOM plug

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, Tekonsha does not make a custom brake controller adapter for the 2023 Lexus GX460. You can still install the Tekonsha Primus IQ # 90160 but you will need to remove the factory plug and hardwire the controller.

Hey David, were you able to get the Primus IQ wired into your GX 460 after removing the factory plug? Knowing what worked could help others trying to add a brake controller to newer Lexus models.
