What is Best Suspension Enhancement Solution for 2024 Ford F-150 Towing Camper Trailer
Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/29/2024 >
Question:
I currently have a 2018 Ford F150, 4 x 4 that has airlift airbags on it with a compressor. The system works great while towing leveling out the truck in the camper beautifully, but I already had needed to replace the compressor and have air leaks it does give a rough ride when not towing, I’m now buying a new F150 2024 4 x 4 i’m wondering if the RAS system would perform just as well I’m looking for something that will give me a good good ride when not towing my trailer but yet not experiencing squatting when towing. My trailer is a 25 foot fifth wheel approximately 7500 pounds wet with a 1200 pound pin Weight with a close to 2000 pound payload with Everything. How much squat can I expect? thanks for your help

Hey Keith, yes the Roadactive System part # RAS3611-YHD that you referenced is exactly what you are looking for. It gives you everything you are lookin for and requires no maintenance and there's no risk of air leaks etc.
Unlike other options this is only solution that will improve loaded and unloaded ride quality as well as improve loaded an unloaded handling. I can't say exactly how much sag you'd still experience but it is adjustable so you can decide basically how much of that you'd like to remove.
