Is There a Max Load Bar Spread for the Yakima OverHaul HD Ladder Rack

Question:

2024 Ford Maverick Lariat. What is the maximum rail separation front to back for my truck? In other words, how far can I spread the rail assembly apart? The Video mentioned standard installation separation was 36 inches.

Hey Rich, you can have the Yakima Overhaul HD ladder rack part # Y01151-57 basically set as far apart as your truck bed rails will allow. The uprights basically will go within an inch or so of all the way forward and back in your truck bed so it would be basically just slightly less than your bed's length. For longer things like ladders yeah the wider the spread the better but for shorter things you'll want to bring the bars in closer but it will require using your best judgment.
