Recommended Replacement Trailer Jack for a 2001 22' Boatmate Trailer

Updated 06/26/2024 | Published 06/25/2024

Question:

I have a 2001 22’ boatmate trailer for a Moomba Outback LSV. The stock jack was removed by the previous owner and a clamp/bolt around the frame jack was installed. It is starting to wear out and I would like to get a jack that mounts in the original stock location. Do you have a jack that fits this trailer? Also, I would need all the attachment hardware as none of it was with the boat when we purchased it. Thanks for your help.

Jason, from what it looks like the Fulton Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # FXP10 should work great in the original location. This jack has a 1.2K capacity, a mounting bracket that measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/2", and will fit 3" x 5" trailer frames. So, as long as your original jack bracket measures the same, you're good.

Thanks for the reply. The original Jack was a single bolt style attachment. The holes on the stock mounting location are 3.25” x 3.25”. Do you have a single bolt mounting jack option? Again we would need all the mounting hardware because we have none of the original hardware. All that we have is the stock mount on the frame with the center mounting bolt. Thanks.

@JasonR It looks like the closest we have to the original is the Fulton Boat Trailer Jack w/ Wheel # FXP10W0301 which is a single bolt design, and has a 3" hole spacing.
