What is size/pitch of the retainer nut? Im uncertain to which exact version of yakima rack I have, but my bolt is 5/8x 11 threads per inch.

Hi Stephen; the retainer nut in the # Y90254 is designed to fit a 5/8"-11 bolt like yours. This also fits all generations of the Yakima HoldUp so it is the part you need.

Hi Robin, the bolt/nut fitment was good, however; the block that holds the nut is one-eighth inch shorter (width) than the original block so the secure in place pins/tabs do not hold as well as the original or anticipated. Were there other models matching the original width (1-11/16")?

@Stephen this is the only version of this part offered by Yakima. There is not another model that has a different width. It could have to do with the manufacturing but that is hard to say. I'm also not sure to what extent they aren't holding but realistically it shouldn't be an issue when the anti-rattle hitch bolt is in place.

@RobinH I agree it shouldn't be an issue with the bolt in, but I'll just have to be more cognizant when I'm moving it off the hitch to not lose. One thing I won't have to worry about is trying to pry it out whenever I need to replace it haha. I appreciate your time and responsiveness, y'all have been great!
