Will The B&W Companion Fixed 5TH Wheel Hitch Also Fit a Short Bed 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500HD?

I see you have the puck system 5th wheel hitch for Chevrolet, but it says 8ft bed. Is there another puck 5th wheel hitch for shorter beds, or are they the same?

While the B&W Companion Fixed 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3715 will techinally fit in the puck system on both a long and short bed 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with the factory puck system. We list it for the 8' bed and the B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3775 for short beds. The slider ensures you will be able to slide the hitch back 12" so you have the ability to make jackknife turns since the distance to the cab is only around 42" on a short bed where a long bed truck is closer to 52".
