Replacement For 600 lb Pro Series Weight Distribution Hitch

Question:
I acquired a weight distribution system and I am unable to assemble the spring bars to the hitch. The head is marked 113913 Pro Series which through research also seems to be known as Pro Series RB2 part 58333. The spring bars are marked 113908 Pro Series. I have found installations instructions but no matter what I do the spring bar does not fit in the head. Im wondering if this spring bar is not compatible this head. A video installing this style of spring bar would be helpful but I cant find any. Hitch is part 63970. Not sure if I need a different head or spring bars.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for all the info, it's appreciated, and the issue with the spring bars not fitting the head is they aren't correct. This was discontinued quite some time ago so there aren't videos, or replacement parts made for the hitch.
So while I know it's not what you wanted to hear, there really isn't anything that can be done with the hitch apart from a new one with the same 600 lb rating, like the Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # RE34FR.

Hey Matt, did the new Reese Pro Round Bar weight distribution system end up working out for your setup? Knowing how it performed could help others replacing older Pro Series hitches. Your update could make it easier for the next person with the same issue.
