I am looking for replacement parts for a Reese V5 hitch . I need the brackets that bolts to the trailer and the distribution bars

The Reese V5 is an old system that has been discontinued, but you can use the replacement lift bracket # RP21501 to replace your old brackets. If you need new chains for the lift brackets you can use either part # 55630 or part # 3216. These parts have been confirmed as a fit from Reese.

Unfortunately there are not spring bars available that can be used with the old V5 system, so if the bars are lost or damaged beyond repair you would then need to look into a new weight distribution system. I've linked our weight distribution hitches to this answer if you're wanting to go that route. If you can let me know what the tongue weight and total weight of the trailer is, I'm happy to help you locate a replacement system.
