Question:

Any suggestions on how to help the extend the life of these. I am sure the material will start to deteriorate after some years of being under a vehicle.

Hello James, great question. The Timbren bump stops are known for being super durable. We do not hear any complaints of the material deteriorating over time. A lot of times you will see factory bump stops that start to degrade over time, but the Timbrens are much more durable, and this is not a common issue at all.

That being said, the best thing you can do to prolong the life will be to clean them periodically. Debris and dirt from the road can speed up corrosion. Road salt is also not going to help anything. If you were to give them a good rinse with clean water or even a light soap solution once or twice a year this will help keep them in "like-new" condition for a lot longer.
