Best Option for Addressing a Squatting Rear End on a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

Hi, I am looking to purchase a set of sumo springs for my 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500. I put a leveling kit in it when originally purchased, so my truck currently sits level when not heavily loaded. I hardly ever tow anything with my truck. Keeping that in mind, my truck often sags when the bed is medium to heavily loaded. I do not like the look and want to accomplish a suspension improvement to keep my 1500 Silverado level when loaded. What product in your opinion would you recommend? Also, the fact that my truck is already leveled, would that affect the sumo spring installation/outcome?

SumoSprings would definitely be the solution I would recommend for your squatting concern. The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle item # SS45MR have a 2,800 lbs capacity which would eliminate that carolina lift look you get when your bed is loaded. These springs have progressive load control, which means that the springs compress according to the weight of your cargo. If you're not towing or hauling you won't notice a difference unless you hit a pretty big bump. The leveling kit on your 2016 Silverado would not affect the installation or function of this system.
