Does the Thule Hullavator Work w/ Malone Crossbars?
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
From previous answers on your site, I understand that the Thule HullavatorPro will work with Malone Airflow 2 bars. Is that correct and am I correct that these bars will fit a 2016 Chev. Equinox? If so, is the 58 inch the proper length for the Malone bars or are longer ones needed? Thanks.

Yes, that is correct the Thule Hullavator Pro item # TH898 does indeed work with the 58 "Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack item # MPG216. These mount to the raised rails on the 2016 Chevy Equinox and will give you plenty of room to use the lift assist function on the Hullavator item # TH898.

Thanks Jerred, I have sinced learned of a possible problem with spacing on my roof rails. The hullavator info states that there is a required 24 inch spacing required and after measuring my raised side rail, it appears that there would be only 22 inches at most because of the tapered/closed ends of the side rail. Would this set up still work?
