I have the stealth tow kit for my model 3. What size socket do I need to torque the ball?

Hey Joe,

The nut on the hitch ball of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 391TES317T is 1-1/2". That being said, the hitch ball should already be torqued to spec for you when you receive it.

Unfortunately, it was not. I did not have a torque wrench that goes up that high so I had to buy a new one along with the socket.

@Joe Sorry to hear that it wasn't torqued already. If you run into an issue like this again we typically recommend just stopping by your local automotive shop or retail store as they should have a torque wrench with a high enough capacity to properly torque down the nut for you so you're not having to buy another tool that you won't really need.
