Fishing Rod Carrier Fitment for an RV Ladder

Question:

Hi - Do you have a solution to mount a fishing rod holder like a Yakima RealDeal, etc to a vertical RV ladder? I wasnt sure what could mount to a RV ladder, but still provide secure storage outside of the RV without a roof rack option and my hitch rack is full with a bike carrier.

Hey Jeremy, thanks for reaching out!

I have a potential creative solution for you, but we unfortunately don't have any fishing rod carriers that mount on an RV ladder.

With that being said, the SeaSucker Ski and Snowboard Carrier # SEA46ZR can be mounted vertically on the body of an RV as long as it isn't a "warp" that it vacuum cup mounts to. Then you'll just need to make sure you have the reel mounted at the top just to ensure that the rod and reel don't work their way down and out of the clamps.

I will say that I only recommend trying this if you have cheaper fishing poles as the ride quality will be pretty rough like this. Aside from this, you'll need to store the fishing poles inside your RV to keep them nice.
