Will Flat Towing 2024 Ford Maverick with Braking System Drain Battery

On my 2024 ford maverick hybrid, the truck needs to be off and in neutral tow mode. Therefore need a aux power outlet like this one. I am concerned that my battery will run down. Can you comment?

Hey Dan, yeah eventually the battery of your Maverick would get drained by the supplemental braking system of the flat towing setup so what you'd want is a charge kit like the part # RM-156-25 so that your tow vehicle can keep the Maverick's battery topped off.
