Will Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor AL74000EZ Maintain PSI of Air Bag While Driving
Updated 05/08/2024 | Published 05/07/2024 >
Question:
I have installed Airlift air bags on my P/U 2021 GMC 3500 and they work great. Now I want to add a on board air compressor. I was looking at the Air Lift all in one units with the wireless remote. The question I have is will this unit maintain the air pressure? For example if its 85 degrees when I leave Florida and drive to Montana at the top of the mountain its -10, will the compressor adjust the air pressure without my command? Or when I loose 3 PSI over 3 days will it add air? I am looking for a dummy proof option for my driver

Hey Pete,
Excellent questions, and "dummy proof" is actually a really good phrase to describe the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs # AL74000EZ.
The answer to your question about the compressor maintaining the air pressure when driving is yes, it will. You just need to make sure when installing it, you connect the pink wire from the compressor's wiring harness to a wire that is active when the ignition is on.
So you'll set up whatever psi you like for your truck, and it will maintain that pressure. Same thing for when you go a few days and lose pressure. As soon as you start the truck up, it'll make those adjustments.
