I am assured by Etrailer customer service that this is the same as the Draw-Tite 24999. Draw-Tite does not recommend this for the 2024 Hyundai Elantra SE. In fact several comments by Etrailer customers in 2024 indicate serious fit problems. Why does Etrailer recommend this hitch for this car?

Hey Russ, so the Draw Tite hitch part # DT75MR we carry is the same as the Draw Tite part number 24999. While Draw Tite hasn't officially listed this as a fit for the 24' models we have found that since the vehicle didn't change from previous year we do know it does fit.
There were a couple fit related reviews that came up that are a little concerning. While I don't think you'd have any issues I would rather recommend you the Curt part # C53NR that also fits your Elantra and doesn't have any fit issue reviews.
