Question:

Im looking at Global Link locks for my travel trailer. The question is if I item number 295-000002 for the entry door, and item number 295-000003 quantity 2, and then keyed alike for both items, will the entry door and compartment locks all be keyed alike? I want to use a single key for all of them if thats possible. Thank you.

Hey Curtis,

The keyed alike options for both the Global Link Cam Lock # 295-000003 and Entry Door Lock # 295-000002 are specific to themselves so there would not be a way to get them both keyed alike to each other, aside from just luck. These get shipped to us as one key code per box of locks and it's random to make it harder for someone else to have the same key code as you. Selecting the keyed-alike option just means you're getting multiple locks from the same shipment. I typically recommend replacing all door locks (if you have multiple doors) or all compartment cam locks at the same time so that they will at least match even though you'll still need two keys.
