Do Dexter Nev-R-Lube Hubs Require Greasing Spindle
Published 04/17/2024 >
Question:
I have an airstream trailer with Dexter nev-r-lube hubs and nev-r-adjust brakes. I watched a video on replacing the brakes and the axle spindle was lubed. Do I need to do that as well when replacing the brake assembly or is it unnecessary because the hubs are sealed?

Hey Christopher, when installing hubs that have Nev R Lube bearing setups there is no initial grease required. Since it's totally sealed it would be pointless to do this.
