Which Side of Spindle Should DeeMax Trailer Disc Brake Install On DE42FR

When installing DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit - 10 Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Maxx Coating - 3,500 lbs - DE42FR on my trailer. Where should the caliper be located?

Expert Reply:
Hey Kevin, you would want to have the calipers on the front side or the rear side of the axle of the kit part # DE42FR. This is to allow the brakes to be easier bled since the bleed valve would be pointed up to allow the air to rise up and out.

Hey Kevin, how did the caliper placement go on your DeeMaxx disc brake kit? It’d be great to hear if mounting them on the front or rear side made bleeding the brakes easier. Your update could make it easier for others working on the same setup.
