Do The Bolts For The Blue Ox Clevis Adapter # e98978 Need To Be Torqued

Question:
I bought the etrailer SD-e98971 tow bar to connect to the Blue ox base plate. I’m not sure if the adapters at the end of the arms should be torqued? Can you help please?

Hello, Phil. Yes, the bolts that go into the adapters at the end of the arms should be torqued. It looks like those are 5/16" grade 5 bolts so they should be torqued to 18 ft lbs. I have included the torque chart below for your reference.
