Is There An Adapter Or Base Available For A B&W Patriot Slider To Fit GM Puck Systems

Question:

I have a Patriot 18K slider hitch that used rails on my 2022 Chevy 3500 hd. I purchased a 2024 Chevy 2500 HD with the puck system. Is there a way i can use this hitch with the puck system, without having to buy a whole new system or different slider base.

Hey Sherman,

The B&W Patriot slider base is unfortunately incompatible with puck adapter rails because portions of it sit too low and would interfere with the adapter. If you have an 8' bed you could swap to a fixed base and use an adapter but the cost for both would end up being close to a new hitch so it's not the best solution.

The Patriot and Companion components unfortunately are not compatible with each other either so you won't be able to easily swap out to a Companion base like the # BWRVB3710. You would need to purchase a new hitch like the Companion Slider # BWRVK3775 or fixed base Companion # BWRVK3710 depending on your new Silverado's bed length.
