Sealant to Use with Install of RV Ladder

Question:

Do you sell the sealer used to put under the anchor pads of an RV ladder? I see it being used in your video on installing a ladder. I removed the ladder on my friends Chinook and we need to install new sealer. Thank you.

Hey Dan, so the sealant you would want to use when installing an RV ladder like the part # LA-401BA is a non-sag sealant like the part # AL28KV.

Most slides have EPDM rubber roofs but because EPDM is rubber it requires treatment each year to keep it soft and prevent shrinkage. You could replace it with TPO which is another synthetic rubber that will last longer than the EPDM. The smallest…
