When the road turns ugly or the miles stretch out, this tire-and-wheel combo stays steady. The Loadstar ST235/75R15 radial tire is Load Range D with an 8-ply rating and a 2,860-lb max load at 65 psi. The Q (99-mph) speed rating gives it plenty of headroom for highway travel, while the deep, rugged tread bites into mud and uneven surfaces. It’s built to handle both off-road terrain and paved routes without sacrificing traction or control.
Durability isn’t just about thickness—it’s about structure. This radial tire uses double steel belts reinforced with full nylon plies to keep its shape under load and extend tread life. The sturdy sidewalls are designed specifically for trailer use, so they support heavy cargo without flexing too much. It’s a setup that keeps rolling season after season with confidence on every haul.
Rust can ruin good gear fast, but not here. The 15" x 6" modular steel wheel is e-coated first, then finished with a black powder coat that seals out moisture and road grime. That tough finish resists chips and corrosion, keeping the wheel looking clean even after long exposure to wet or salty conditions.
Every part of this assembly is built to carry its weight. The tire supports up to 2,860 lbs at 65 psi, while the wheel itself is rated at 2,200 lbs. Together they form a balanced combo that meets Department of Transportation specs for dependable performance under load. With a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern, 0 offset, and 3.19" pilot diameter, fitment is straightforward when replacing or upgrading existing setups.
Stuff happens on the road, and this tire has you covered. If it’s damaged in any way within the first 12 months, it’ll be replaced at no charge under Kenda’s 1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee. That kind of backing makes every trip feel a little more certain no matter where you’re headed next.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

So cool that you are restoring the trailer that your Grandfather built Marshall! It definitely looks like he knew what he was doing, that thing is built to last. I am glad we had the right tires and wheels to help you with your project.

Glad you like them, Brandon! I am a fan of black wheels and they look great on your camper! These are also my choice for off-road trailer tires and I think you will be happy with them. What kind of vehicle are you using to tow?
