Troubleshooting Blinker Hyperflash After Trailer Wiring Install 2022 Toyota Venza

Question:

Installed your light harness on my wifes 2022 venza. Everything went very well except for the left blinker. Indicates bad bulb blinks very fast on front only. As I suspect that it is not a bulb, any suggestions on what to look for?

Hey Robert, that's not a good sign but hopefully it's an easy fix. It sounds like maybe the connectors of the Curt trailer wiring harness part # C57ER are not seated properly which is causing the blinker malfunction. Usually a hyper flash is when a bulb is out. Try unplugging and plugging the connectors back in to see if that fixes it. Normally even when trailer wiring harnesses are bad they vehicle turn signals aren't affected so I wouldn't anticipate that being the problem.
