How to Measure Bolt Pattern on Trailer Wheel

Question:
Im looking to buy a wheel and tire combo. I measured my wheel bolt pattern and it reads 5x4.25. All I see is 5x4.5 patterns. Is there a 4,25 pattern or am I measuring incorrectly?

5 on 4.25 is a real bolt pattern but it isn't something you see on trailer wheels. This is typically found on passenger vehicles. More than likely you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern but you should double check again to be sure. One way to do this is by printing the template I attached in the link below.
You can also measure from center to outside edge of one of the two farthest holes, or use the center to center measurement of adjacent holes. If your center to center measurement is 2-5/8" you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. These methods are also outlined in a help article I have attached below.
