Can this axle be undermounted or does that change the way the tires ride?

Expert Reply:

The etrailer axle part # e82GR can only be installed in an underslung orientation. Since the axle has a bow to it if you were to flip it the alignment would be way off. You'd have to weld spring seats on the opposite side of the axle with the part # TRSS175 to install the axle as an overslung setup.

Can you clarify which way underslung is? Does this mean the springs are on top with the axle under?

@KyleA So overslung means the leaf springs are above the axle and underslung means the leaf springs are below the axle. So the "slung" is the leaf spring if that makes sense.
