looking to extend my hitch 6 inches for tail gate clearance, rotating head of electric jack wont give me enough. any hitch extensions rated for 5000 pounds? thanks

The Curt hitch extender part # C76DR is a 6 inch extender but it has a 3,500 lb weight capacity that won't work with a 5,000 lb capacity but I do have a solution with an extra long ball mount like the part # 80232 which is 15-3/4 inch length and would give you the additional length you need while still having the capacity you need.
