Note:
Towing can be brutal, especially when your setup is outfitted with standard, metal-on-metal components. Steel and aluminum can only absorb so much vibration and chucking, so every time you hit a bump in the road, that shock gets transferred to the rest of your rig, leaving it vulnerable to wear and tear. Another unfortunate side effect is an uncomfortable ride for you and your passengers.
Protect your truck and trailer from road shock, vibrations, and rattling - and stay comfortable while you drive - with the shock-absorbing Curt RockerBall hitch ball.
The RockerBall hitch ball features Curt's innovative ShockDrop technology, which is engineered to suppress vibrations and rattling while you're towing. When you hit a bump, the ball compresses around the flexible, polyurethane core. This durable material absorbs excess shock at the coupling point so that it doesn't transfer from the truck to your trailer or vice versa. The result is increased control and comfort as you tow, as well as less wear and tear on your towing setup.
This hitch ball is built to last with its forged steel construction and durable powder coat finish. The flexible, shock-absorbing polyurethane core withstands extreme heat for long-lasting performance, and the chrome-plated ball resists corrosion.
The built-in zerk allows you to lubricate the isolator core when necessary, ensuring quiet and trouble-free operation.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking together at our Curt RockerBall Shock-Absorbing two-inch Hitch Ball. It features a one-inch shank diameter and it is a chrome finish and it's rated at 7,500 pounds capacity. So folks, as you know, the hitch ball provides a connection point for your trailer's coupler and this does fit most existing ball mounts. Again, a one-inch shank diameter.
And from the start, you can see you have a grease zerk down there that's for greasing everything up. That way, it can pivot nice and smooth. And then, of course, you have the lock washer and you have this plate here that's gonna go around the front side of the shank and help hold it, that way, it doesn't spin once you get everything nice and tight. And then, of course, it can pivot here side to side, much like the image I'm gonna throw up on the screen there for you, whenever this is being used. So this cushion isolators inside of there reduce rattling and vibrations, gives you a more comfortable ride, and reduces the shock loads to the vehicle during sudden braking and acceleration.
So all this is gonna work together to minimize stress on the tow vehicle suspension and brakes, extending the longevity and the lifetime of those. Now, the fine threads here provide a tight, strong grip whenever everything's installed correctly. And it does come with instructions and everything, so make sure you're torquing it down to the correct torque specs found in the instructions. Everything here that you see black is a carbide black powder coat finish. And again, the ball is a chrome-resistant finish.
So this is literally virtually maintenance-free with the exception of the grease zerk on the bottom. Grease it up maybe once a year or so. Follow the instruction for that as well. And this has been tested to meet all SAE safety standards. And again, it's a two-inch ball rated at 7,500 pounds capacity.
Folks, that will wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for joining me.
