Does 7-Way Trailer Wiring Have the Stoplights and Turn Signals on Same Circuit

Question:

Wiring question. I can not get my truck camper brake lights to work. My truck has separate rear brake lights and turn signals. My camper has one light for both. How do I wire the brake wire from my pickup to the 7 way to get brake lights on the TC? Thanks, Larry

The 7-way you have installed on your truck would already have the turn signals and stop lights combined on the same circuit since that is standard for trailer wiring and there isn't a way to wire up a 7-way with the circuits separate.

Now if there's a third brake light that you want to illuminate on your camper you would need to get that circuit directly from the stoplight circuit that you said was separate on the truck wiring (not the trailer wiring).
