I think the hitch is very well designed and manufactured, and has been installed by a local professional in Jupiter, FL.
Unfortunately, because of the Covid 19, and some (lumbar) back issues, we never took the Whaler out this Summer. Hopefully will get it out during March and April before it becomes too hot. I have only put 3100 miles on the car in the last year.

An excellent product if you want or need an invisible hitch as my wife insisted on. The installation instructions were excellent. I installed the unit myself with minimal issues in about 4 - 5 hours. I found the electrical part of the project to be a bit confusing as there was an active wiring hook up and a passive wiring hookup option, without any reason why. I assumed because we were going to tow a trailer we needed active hookup was needed only to find after doing a considerable amount of disassembly in the fuse box area that I was only supplied the passive hook up wiring harness. After re assembling The passive method was successfully installed and all works fine. The impact of my mistake wasted and hour or two. I would recommend this product
As always you guys have the best products and easy to understand instructions. This is my 3rd hitch I have bought for different cars. It was the most challenging which I enjoy. I have to admit pulling a rear bumper cover off a Porsche was new for me. In the end it all worked seamlessly. I would recommend etrailer to any of my friends.

Thats great! Thank you so much. You mentioned three other cars so it sounds like you have lots of experience installing hitches. Man, though...was it nerve wracking taking the bumper of the Porche?
